About the Project

Date: 2026     Client: DIN
My tasks: Concept, Videoproduction and Postproduction

In 2025, the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) celebrated 50 years of its standards agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany. The challenge was to move standardization beyond its purely technical perception and highlight its cultural, social and creative significance. Instead of using a single DIN format, DIN – The Magazine in Every Format explores the entire system from D10 to B0, arranged from smallest to largest. Each format becomes a starting point for exploring its typical application, cultural significance or communicative function.

The result is a publication where format, content and storytelling are inseparably connected — demonstrating how clear boundaries can create space for creativity. I led the planning, production and post-production of the project’s case film, guiding a dedicated team throughout the entire process. From concept development and production planning to directing, editing, animation and final post-production, I oversaw the film from first idea to final delivery.

Awards: 4× Gold, 2× Silver and 1× Bronze at the ADC Awards, Bronze Lion at the Cannes Film Festival.
